Lady Tigers Aim for Redemption at Home After Two Tough Losses
• The Texas Southern women’s basketball team is back in action at home on Thursday against Arkansas Pine-Bluff at 3 p.m.
• TSU has two losses in conference play against Southern and Grambling, 2/13/25 and 2/15/25. Before, The Lady Tigers went 11-0 in the SWAC, its best start since 1980-81.
• This season, the women’s basketball schedule changes drastically as the women will play SWAC games on Thursday (single game) and Saturday (doubleheader). This marks the first time since 1995 that the SWAC has altered its league basketball schedule.
• This marks the third season for TSU head coach Vernette Skeete. This season also marks the first time the roster will be upperclassman-heavy after fielding
