GRAMBLING, La. – TSU doubled up Grambling State over the final 8:49 to break its three-game losing streak as they won 67-60 Saturday evening.
With TSU trailing 12-10 early in the second half, Grambling State went on a 12-2 run over the next 3:51 to extend its lead to 24-12. Grambling State would lead by double digits up until right below the four-minute mark but TSU outscored GSU 10-6 over the final 3:50 as Oumar Koureissi led the way with six points while Kavion McClain picked up a steal in the closing seconds and found Bryce Roberts for the score at the buzzer for 37-30 halftime deficit.
