ITTA BENA, Miss. – Texas Southern remained undefeated in SWAC play after a dominant 80-54 win over Mississippi Valley State University Thursday night.
Ahead 14-10 in the first quarter, Daeja Holmes’ three-pointer gave TSU a seven-point cushion and the defense would do the rest as they held MVSU scoreless the reminder of the quarter while Holmes added another basket for an early 20-10 first quarter lead.
