Volleyball Takes on Prairie View In First Round of SWAC Tournament

The Texas Southern volleyball team has concluded the regular season as the No. 7 seed in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) as they will take on Prairie View A&M on Friday with a 4 p.m. tip-off inside the William Nicks Building.

Texas Southern has concluded the regular season going 8-22 Overall, 8-8 SWAC under the direction of Head Coach Alexis Austin. 

The tournament matches and seedings are below as the matches will be streamed on the SWAC Digital Network.

Friday, November 17
Match 1 – No. 1 Alabama State vs. No. 8 Bethune-Cookman- 11:00 am
Match 2 – No. 4 Alabama A&M vs. No. 5 Jackson State- 1:30 pm
Match 3 – No. 2 Prairie View A&M vs. No. 7 Texas Southern- 4:00 pm
Match 4 – No. 3 Florida A&M vs. No. 6 Grambling State- 6:30 pm

Saturday, November 18
