HOUSTON — Texas Southern volleyball responded with authority Sunday afternoon, sweeping Arkansas–Pine Bluff in straight sets (25-16, 25-19, 25-15) at the Health & Physical Education Arena to improve to 5-1 in SWAC play.

Coming off a tough loss to Prairie View A&M that snapped their undefeated conference streak, the Lady Tigers wasted no time regaining momentum. TSU dominated at the net and in transition, hitting .295 as a team while holding UAPB to a .000 attack percentage.

Kourtni Collier led the charge with 13 kills on a .615 hitting clip, while Gracie Hill added 10.5 points and hit .353. Setter Ava Ray distributed 37 assists and recorded 14 digs, while Morelia Lorenzo Diaz anchored the back row with 11 digs and a 90% reception…
