HOUSTON — Texas Southern volleyball kept its SWAC momentum rolling Sunday afternoon, sweeping Mississippi Valley State in straight sets (25–19, 25–12, 25–22) at the Health & Physical Education Arena.
The Lady Tigers were locked in from the start, showcasing a balanced attack and disciplined defense. Outside hitter Morgynne McQueen led the way with 10 kills and a .700 hitting percentage, while Gracie Hill added eight kills and four digs.
TSU’s front line was a force, with Kourtni Collier and Lauren Battle combining for 11 kills and several key blocks. Setter Ava Ray kept the offense flowing with 14 assists and added three kills of her own.
