HOUSTON — Texas Southern showed grit and flashes of offensive promise Thursday evening at Durley Field but ultimately fell 3-0 to a disciplined Fresno State squad.
The Bulldogs struck early, with Alexis Campbell netting an unassisted goal in the 10th minute. Despite trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Lady Tigers remained composed and competitive throughout the match.
Texas Southern’s best scoring opportunities came from Kamara Bradley and Savannah Muldrew, both of whom forced saves from Fresno State’s goalkeepers. Liliane Clase Baez and Clara Dotigny also registered shots on target, keeping pressure on the Bulldogs’ back line.
