Men’s Basketball To Face Texas State Sunday Afternoon At Home
• Texas Southern closes out its two-game homestand with a match-up against Texas State on Sunday at 4 p.m. inside the H&PE Arena.
• TSU will face Texas State for the first time since 2010 as it was in Fort Worth, Texas at a neutral site. Texas State last played at TSU in 2002 as they won 79-71. TSU leads the all-time series 7-5 as the series began in 1985.
• TSU has not played a team from the Sun Belt Conference since the 2019 CIT as they traveled to Louisiana-Monroe and won. TSU is 11-14 all-time against the league with games against Texas State (7-5), Louisiana (1-3), ULM (2-0), James Madison (1-0), Southern Miss (0-2) and South Alabama (0-4).
