Baseball Enters SWAC Tournament Seeded 6th, Will Play Florida A&M Once Again
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Texas Southern baseball team will start postseason play Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. against the Rattlers of Florida A&M inside historic Rickwood Field.
Seeded sixth, TSU will face the No. 3 Rattlers for the fourth consecutive game as the teams last met in Tallahassee this past weekend. Despite Florida A&M claiming all three games, two of the three games TSU dropped were by a combined three runs.
The Rattlers enter Wednesday’s game on a seven-game winning streak over TSU, as the teams last met in postseason play during the 2023 campaign. Once again, TSU will kick off the tournament, having drawn the 9 a.m. game in 2025 and 2023.
