Women’s Golf Grinds Through Day 2 Of PGA Works

KOHLER, Wis. – The Texas Southern Women’s Golf Team remained tied in sixth place after their 332 round on day two of the PGA Works Collegiate Championship on Tuesday.

The Tigers played the Straits Course, where junior Azul Amezcua was the Tigers’ low scorer for the day with her six-over-par 78. Amezcua’s round included two birdies, 10 pars, four bogeys, and two doubles.

Graduate student, Alexa Gonzalez, is two strokes back with her eight-over-par round of 80.

The PGA Works Collegiate Championship is hosted at Whistling Straits on the Straits & Irish courses.
