Women’s Golf Wins UHV Dual Meet, Gregory Overall Winner
VICTORIA, Texas – The Texas Southern women’s golf team closed out the 2024 fall season with a win at the UHV/TSU Match hosted by The University of Houston-Victoria.
The Tigers came out victorious following a 9-stroke lead with a final score of 317. Sophomore Shawnise Gregory bagged her first collegiate win following her 4-over par-76 round. Gregory posted two birdies, 10 pars, and six bogies during her round. Senior Alexis Gonzalez finished in third place after posting a 6-over 78 while senior Miness Siame placed in 6th with her 81 round.
The 2024 UHV/TSU Match concludes the fall season for Women’s Golf. The Tigers return to action in February with their spring season opener at the ASU Spring Invitational in Montgomery, Ala.
