PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Texas Southern University women’s golf team concluded this week’s tournament play after completing the final round of the Women’s National Collegiate on Wednesday. The tournament was hosted at the Callaway Gardens Resort.
Senior, Rev Alcantara was the top scorer for the Lady Tigers with her 15th place finish.
“This is a prestigious tournament that we enjoy competing in every year,” Texas Southern head coach Dr. Gary Grandison said. “We are progressing in some areas and I expect us to progress in areas that provide a greater impact on results.”
As the season draws to a close, the Tigers gear up to compete in the Southwestern Athletic Conference Championship next week. The tournament will be played at Oakwing Golf Club in Alexandria, Louisiana.
