The Texas Southern softball and track & field teams hit the road this weekend while baseball returns home for a weekend series at MacGregor Park starting Friday in addition to the annual spring football game on Saturday.SOFTBALL at SOUTHERN
The TSU softball team returns to Louisiana for the second straight weekend as they'll face Southern University Friday and Saturday in Baton Rouge. This series holds significant importance for both teams as only one game separates them in the SWAC standings as TSU is two games back of first place in second. The series starts at 4:30 p.m. Friday and concludes with a 12 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
TRACK & FIELD AT CARL KNIGHT INVITE & MULTI
The TSU men's and women's track & field teams head to Nacogdoches, Texas to participate in the Carl Knight Invite at Stephe F. Austin. The meet starts Thursday and ends Saturday as both teams continue to prep for the upcoming SWAC Championship in May.
2025 SPRING FOOTBALL
The 2025 spring campaign for Tiger Football comes to an end Saturday as they'll host its annual Spring Game at 1 p.m. inside Durley Stadium.
Second-year head coach Cris Dishman and squad concludes the 15th and final practice with a simulated game as it'll feature and offense vs. defense format. Admission to Saturday's game is free of charge.
BASEBALL hosts ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF
TSU baseball returns home for the first of two straight weekend series as they'll host UAPB Friday (3 p.m.), Saturday (2 p.m.) and Sunday (1 p.m.) at MacGregor Park.
Since 2014, Texas Southern holds a 36–26 series lead and has won 13 of the past 16 against the Golden Lions. TSU currently ranks second in the SWAC at 10-2 while UAPB holds a 3-6 league mark.
