HOUSTON – The Tigers and Lady Tigers of Texas Southern University each had a player featured in an article on ESPN's "The Undefeated", profiling the top HBCU players in the country.
Niya Mitchell, the leading rebounder in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, was the No. 5 women's player in the article "We rank the top 5 men's and women's basketball players at HBCUs," compiled by The Undefeated's Eddie Maisonet.
Trayvon Reed, the second-leading men's rebounder in the SWAC, was named the nation's No. 5 HBCU men's player.
