TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The TSU men's cross country team placed second at the 2022 SWAC Cross Country Championship at Apalachee Regional Park.
TSU wwas locked in a tight race with eventual champion Jackson State for most of the meet until a late surge by JSU created separation which allowed them t capture three spots within the top four spots. Albert Norman was TSU's top finished as he finished fifth (26:05.1) followed Jose Gonzalez's sixth-place run of 26:06.8.
Hillary Maiyo finished 13th (27:11.6) while David Livingston (27:18.6), Brandon Washington (27:31.3) and Dan Lerma (27:34.8) placed 13th, 15th, 17th and 18th, respectively.
