Football To Hold Pair Of Camps For High School Skill Athletes, Lineman June 26-27 At TSU

Texas Southern University head football coach Cris Dishman and staff will hit the gridiron June 26-27 with a pair of summer camps for high school skill athletes and lineman inside the Durley Field Complex on the TSU campus.
Student-athletes entering grades 9th - 12th as of Sept. 1, 2026 are eligible to participate.On Friday, June 26, the football program will hold a offensive/defensive lineman camp from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. with check-in scheduled from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. Later that afternoon, a skill players (quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, linebacker, defensive back) camp will be held at 4 p.m. with check-in scheduled from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
On Saturday, June 27, another session will be held for offensive/defensive lineman from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. with check-in scheduled from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. Later that afternoon, a skill players (quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, linebacker, defensive back) camp will be held at 4 p.m. with check-in scheduled from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
The cost for each camp is $50 per person as attendees at both camps will have an opportunity to be evaluated by TSU staff.
Per TSU policy, every camper must provide a Physician's Statement or a copy of a physical exam completed within the last 12 months. Campers will be asked to upload copoes during registration or bring a copy to check-in. Campers are also required to have active medical insurance to participate.
On the day of camp, participants will need to bring workout clothing, football cleats and running shoes as this is a non-contact skills camp.
