McQueen’s 4 RBI Pushes TSU To Opening-Round Win At SWAC Tournament
GULFPORT, Miss. – Jade McQueen drove in all four runs as Texas Southern moved on to the second round of the SWAC Tournament following a 4-1 win over No. 2 Jackson State on Tuesday.
TSU wasted no time in setting the tone as Kylie Wilson led the game off with a single and moved to second after Destiny Menchaca’s sac bunt. Lanay Carr drew a walk but JSU recorded the second out on a popup. With two outs, Jade McQueen broke the ice with a two-RBI double to right center for a 2-0 lead.
