Lady Tigers Fall in Straight Sets to Abilene Christian
BEAUMONT, Texas — Texas Southern Volleyball dropped a hard-fought match to Abilene Christian in straight sets (25–20, 25–17, 26–24) Friday afternoon at McDonald Gym.
The Lady Tigers showed resilience throughout the match, especially in the third set, where they pushed the Wildcats to extra points before falling 26–24. TSU hit .186 as a team and recorded 7.0 total blocks.
Lauren Battle led the offense with 8 kills, while Gracie Lee added 7 kills. Gracie Hill contributed 5 kills and 2 blocks, and Ava Houston chipped in 6.5 points while hitting .667.
