Moore Moves To 2nd In SWAC, Posts Personal Best At Tom Tellez Alumni Invitational

Freshman Car’De Moore moved to second in the SWAC in the 100 as TSU women’s track & field had nine top-10 marks at the Tom Tellez Alumni Invitational.
Moore ran a personal-best 11.73 in the prelims and placed sixth overall in the 100. Bayli George and Cesley Williams placed fifth (56.15) and seventh (56.3), respectively in the 400 while Lyriq Ray finished eighth in the 100-meter hurdles after posting a personal-best in the prelims (14.33).

Diamond Barrett (4-11.75) and Londyn Brown (4-11.75) finished eighth and ninth in the high jump while Ronelle Plaza (148-10), Angela Sanchez (139-7) and Bria Lawson (137-4) finished 7-8-9 in the hammer as Lawson posted a career-best in the event.

TSU is back in action Thursday at the Carl Knight Invitational, in Nacogdoches, Texas at Stephen F. Austin.
