Tigers Battle Boise State Tonight On The Road
• Texas Southern continues its road swing at Boise State Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in Boise, Idaho.
• TSU will face Boise State for the first time since 2012. While a lot has changed since then, the one constant is Boise State’s head coach as Leon Rice was in his third season at the time.
• Even though Johnny Jones has spent 24 years as a head coach, he has only faced six Mountain West teams as head coach and is 1-9 all-time. He’s 0-2 against Boise State, 0-2 versus San Diego State, 0-1 against Nevada, 0-2 versus Air Force, 0-2 versus New Mexico and 1-0 versus Wyoming.
