TSU Athletics To Host 2nd Annual Free Community Fan Fest Saturday, August 24
The Texas Southern Department of Athletics will host its second annual Athletic Community Fan Fest on Saturday, Aug. 24 inside the H&PE Arena at 4 p.m.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will officially kick off the 2024-25 athletic year campaign. TSU fans will have an opportunity to meet and interact with the coaches and student-athletes of all its sports teams. Posters featuring the fall, winter and spring sports teams will also be available for autographing opportunities.
All 16 teams, including the TSU Ocean of Soul, TSU Cheerleaders/Mascots and Tiger Sensations Dance Team will be formally introduced to the public. In addition to a special appearance by TSU administrators, the 2028 freshman class will officially be introduced as they’ll participate in activities throughout the event.
