Men’s Golf Finishes 3rd, Sullivan Top Scorer For Tigers In Gulf Shores

GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Texas Southern men’s golf team finished in third place after the final round of the Gulf Shores Invitational hosted by the Black College Golf Coaches Association.

Sophomore Joel Sullivan moved up four spots on the leaderboard to tie for ninth place and was the top scorer for the Tigers with his 236 (80-80-76) finish.

The Tigers return to the links this weekend when they compete in The Big Texan hosted by The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. The competing teams will be playing at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville, Texas.
