Men’s Golf Concludes Play In Mississippi

DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. – The Texas Southern men’s golf team tied for 10^th following the final round of the Gulf Coast Collegiate hosted by Nicholls State University.

Sophomore Caden Holmes finished tied for 34th individually and was the top scorer for the Tigers with a total of 233 (78-77-78).

Senior Devansh Chadha had the best third-round score for the team with his 4-over 76.

“The performance today was not our best but the golf was a great test in preparation for the SWAC Championship course in April,”  Texas Southern University interim head golf coach, Willie Shankle, PGA said.

The Tigers return to Houston, Texas this weekend as they complete the third consecutive weekend of competition at the Colin Montgomerie – HBU Invitational hosted by Houston Christian University.
