Pree, Adeyeye Start Off 2022 Strong With First-Place Performances At Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Kenneth Pree and Adedeji Adeyeye claimed first place in their respective events as the TSU men’s track team opened the 2022 Indoor Season at Texas A&M on Friday.
 
Adeyeye won the high jump with a mark of 6-4 ¼ to claim his first career title.
 
Pree, who earned a spot at nationals in the spring of 2021, started off the 2022 season strong as he jumped 23-6 on his third try. Fellow jumper Christian Lewis placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 46-6 ¼.
 
On the track, Javan Martin placed fifth in the prelims of the 60s (6.98) before finishing seventh in the finals.
 
TSU is back in action at Texas Tech on Friday.
