Softball Heads To Lamar Saturday Afternoon

The TSU softball team is back in action this weekend for two-game series at Lamar on Saturday in Beaumont, Texas at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The team struck back in a big way after a bumpy road last weekend in Corpus Christi, Texas by sweeping University of Houston-Victoria on Tuesday. The Tigers had one of their best all-around outings this season as Crimson Davis combined for five hits while Tevanae Tate and Daryn Haslam assisted the team by driving in five and four RBI, respectively. 

Reigning SWAC Pitcher of the Week Naomi Reyes picked up where she left off on Tuesday. Five days after throwing her first collegiate no-hitter, the sophomore from Edinburg, Texas struck out nine batters in the win on Tuesday for her third win of the year.
