Texas Southern Lady Tigers Show Heart in SWAC Tournament Thriller Against Alcorn State

Atlanta, Georgia – The Lady Tigers had a physical start in the first quarter, with Harris making her presence known in the paint. Texas Southern led 17-15. They showed resilience and determination despite tough competition from Alcorn State. Anela Thomas and Deivejon Harris led the team with key layups and defensive rebounds. While turnovers and missed shots challenged their momentum, their defense held strong with significant contributions from Tiana Mathis and Daeja Holmes. Jaida Belton fought hard with multiple offensive rebounds followed by put backs that counted.
