Williams Earns Multiple Preseason Honors

The preseason accolades continue to roll in for TSU senior linebacker Jacob Williams.
A Preseason All-SWAC First Teamer, Williams was named to the 2024 HBCU college football Preseason All-America team presented by BOXTOROW along with being named to the inaugural HBCU+ FCS Player of the Year Award Watch List.
The Fresno, Texas native will be expected once again to take charge of the unit after a super-productive junior campaign that saw him amass over 100-plus tackles and nearly 20 tackles for loss as he led TSU in sacks.
