SANFORD, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman claimed the series with a late rally in the final two innings to claim a 10-8 win over TSU on Saturday.
BCU went ahead 1-0 in the second but TSU responded with a five-run third as Bryce Hughes and Jaden Jones combined for three RBI along with Tyler Legendre for a 5-1 lead. The lead was brief as BCU scored four in the bottom half to knot it up but TSU moved ahead 6-5 in the fifth as Legendre’s RBI single. BCU on again reclaimed the lead with a two-run fifth (7-6) and added another run in the sixth to lead 8-6.
