Sullivan In 4th, Men’s Golf In 3rd After Day 2 Of SWAC Championship

FLOWOOD, Miss. – The Texas Southern men’s golf team enters the final round of play in third place following the second round of the 2023 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Golf Championships.

Sophomore Joel Sullivan maintains his lead for the Tigers while being in fourth place individually. Sullivan carded a birdie, bogey, and 16 pars to remain at even par for the tournament on 144 (72-72).
 
Sophomore Kci Lindskog broke into the top 10 with his 2-over round and is currently in ninth place individually with a 2-day total of 149 (75-74). Senior Devansh Chada (76-74) and freshman Owen Walsh (75-75) are tied for 14th place on 150. Sophomore Caden Holmes is one stroke back on 151 (73-78).
 
The competing teams are playing at the Refuge Golf Club, a 6,894-yard par-72 championship course. The Tigers tee up for the final round of the SWAC Championships Wednesday morning with an 8 a.m. start.
