Texas Southern closed out its home series against Southern with a doubleheader sweep on Saturday at Memorial Park.

TSU used a three-run fifth to overcome a deficit en route to a 5-4 lead.
Southern jumped ahead 3-0 in the third and held the lead until the fourth. Lanay Carr opened with a leadoff double and scored after a SU fielding error on Madison Battle’s at-bat. Battle also crossed home during the play for a 3-2 margin. The Jaguars responded in the fifth with a run and had a chance to add more but starter Kaelani Randle forced a fly out to end the inning.
