Soccer’s Game At Rice Moved To Thursday Night

Due to inclement weather, Wednesday’s soccer game at Rice University has been postponed to Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.

Thursday’s game marks the fourth match-up all-time between both schools. The Owls lead the all-time series 3-0 after meeting for the first time in 2004 with the last meeting in 2006.

The Tigers are back in action after last Friday night’s contest at Lamar. Even through the team suffered a loss, goalie Salma Ghazal had herself a day with 16 saves which moved her up to second nationally in the NCAA. A native of Sugar Land, Texas, Ghazal currently has 56 saves on the season.
