Men’s Track & Field Has Strong Outings In 2 Meets This Past Weekend
The TSU men’s track & field teams closed out the month with several strong marks after running in meets at Rice and the University of Texas.
The 4×100-meter relay team placed third while several field event participants had solid outings at the Texas Invitational this past weekend.
The 4×100-meter relay team of Isaac Henderson, Chaunzavia Lewis, Christian Jones and William Perry ran a time of 40.8 to place third overall. In the field. Ahmad Muhammad finished fourth in the triple jump (47-8) while Babacar Diop placed eighth (43-11.75).
Jalen Walker finished eighth in the hammer (193-9) while Jaden Brooks moved to sixth in the SWAC after a mark of 162-8 in the javelin.
