Men’s Basketball Posts Highest APR Rate Among HBCUs
Consistently known for its athletic feats on the court, the Texas Southern men’s basketball team continues to have the same success in the classroom as the team posted the highest APR among HBCU men’s basketball programs.
“Congratulations to head men’s basketball coach Johnny Jones on his team’s academic achievements,” said Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Kevin Granger. “Our goal at TSU is to develop student-athletes to have success in the classroom and on their respective playing fields as Coach Jones and his staff has continually exceeded that goal.
