Garrett Shares Ind. Lead on 2-Under, Men’s Golf In 3rd After Day 1 Of SWAC Championship
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – The Texas Southern University Men’s Golf Team is in third place after posting a 14-over-par day one total of 302 at the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Golf Championship.
Fresham, Tristan Garrett shares the individual lead for the Championship following his 2-under-par opening round of 70. Garrett carded four birdies, 12 pars, and two bogeys in his round and shares the lead with Florida A&M’s Miguel llas.
Freshman, Yashal Shah is tied in 9th on 2-over 74, while Kci Lindskog is three strokes back in 13th place on 77. Junior, Bradley Lavinier carded a 9-over-par 81 and is in 26th place individually.
