MCALLEN, Texas – Texas Southern Women’s golf is back on the road as they gear up to compete in the UTRGV Invitational hosted by The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in McAllen, Texas.
The team placed third at the ASU Spring Classic where Junior Ashlie Hobbs tied for second place individually for the tournament on a solid 189 (76-74-39), only three strokes behind the individual winner, Christian Williams of Samford University. Junior Lyla Vaughn finished in 10th place after a total score of 202 (80-83-39).
The UTRGV Invitational will take place at McAllen County Club with the practice round on Sunday, 36 holes on Monday, and the final round on Tuesday.
