LAFAYETTE, La. – The Texas Southern Tigers had their four-game win streak snapped by Louisiana-Lafayette, as TSU fell 84-73 to the Ragin' Cajuns.
The Ragin' Cajuns were aided by an advantage on the offensive boards as the Tigers allowed 15 offensive rebounds and were out-rebounded 41-30.
TSU trailed 43-42 going into intermission but the Tigers were outscored by 10 points (41-31) in the second half thanks in part to an 18-4 run by ULL that helped turn the game in their favor.
Zach Lofton scored 24 points, connecting on 9-of-14 from the line, to lead Texas Southern. Dulani Robinson added 19 points and Derrick Griffin posted a double-double grabbing 11 rebounds to go along with 10 points.
