MONTGOMERY, Ala. – For the second time this season, heavy rains delayed the conclusion of a Texas Southern University softball game. The Lady Tigers' game against Alabama State on Thursday will be resumed Friday.
The game between Texas Southern and Alabama State will resume at 8 a.m. on Friday. Thursday's last scheduled game between Prairie View A&M and Alabama A&M will follow before Friday's originally scheduled games will be played.
The Lady Tigers had led 3-2 going into the top of the seventh inning before Alabama State rallied for two runs. TSU has yet to bat in the bottom of the seventh.
