MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Texas Southern soccer team is back on the road this weekend with important SWAC matchups at Alabama State and Alabama A&M.
The Tigers scored their first conference win (3-2) against Southern last Friday. Redshirt sophomore and reigning SWAC Offensive Player of the Week, Ashley Arnes, contributed two goals while senior Ari Mendez provided the final goal. Sunday’s match against Jackson State ended in a 0-0 draw which went into double overtime.
The kickoff for Friday’s match against Alabama State is at 7 p.m. while Sunday’s match against Alabama A&M is scheduled for 1 p.m. Streaming links will be posted once they become available.
