The Texas Southern men's basketball team has made a quick pivot on its schedule and will now play UTRGV in a non-conference match-up Saturday evening at 7 p.m. inside the H&PE Arena.
This marks the first meeting between both teams since the 2019 CIT Postseason run and will be the 21st meeting all-time between both teams. The series is tied 10-10 as both teams first met in 1955.
Saturday's originally scheduled SWAC contest against Prairie View A&M was postponed due to COVID-19 issues at Prairie View A&M.
The contest will be streamed live via TSU Athletics' YouTube channel.
