Texas Southern sophomore Mia Marshall was tabbed the Southwestern Athletic Conference's soccer Offensive Player of the Week for her play last week.
The Houston native from Kingwood Park High School scored TSU's game-winning goal over Incarnate Word via a header early in the second half on Sunday. An All-SWAC Second Team preseason selection, Marshall led the Tigers in shots (3) while also tying for the team lead in points.
Marshall and the Tigers are back in action Friday night on the road against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 7 p.m.
