Andriana Avent was tabbed the SWAC’s Impact Player of the Week after performance at Prairie View A&M on Saturday.
The sophomore guard from Sacramento, Calif. scored 23 points off the bench in TSU’s 91-77 win at Prairie View A&M. She also had four rebounds, two assists, a block and steal as she scored 20 points in the second half. Saturday’s performance marked the fourth time Avent scored 20-plus points this season and also her 10th consecutive game in double figures.
TSU is back in action live on NBA TV this Saturday as they’ll face Florida A&M at 1 p.m. in Tallahassee, Fla.
