2017 FB Signing Class
HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Tigers 2017 Football Signing Class has continued to receive positive reviews most recently by being ranked as the 36th ranked class in all of FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) by Hero Sports.
The Tigers were the top ranked program from the Southwestern Athletic Conference and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
"We're without a doubt excited about the direction of this football program," said TSU head coach Michael Haywood. "This class along with the student-athletes we have returning next season should keep us on track towards accomplishing our two main goals which is graduating student-athletes and competing for championships."
Humble High School product running back Terio Brown was tabbed as the Tigers top prospect in the class (#134 overall).
This years' class consisted of 24 student-athletes (three mid-year signees) that committed to the Tigers program including 21 signees from the state of Texas.
