Men’s Track & Field Qualifies 3 For NCAA Division I West First Round
Joshua Brown, Braylon Carr and Ahmad Muhammad punched tickets to the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships First Round next weekend in Fayetteville, Ark.
This marks the first-ever bid for the men’s track & field trio.
A freshman from New Orleans, La., Brown was as good as advertised as a true freshman, as his time of 10.24 at the SWAC Outdoor Championships ranked 48th in the west region. Brown posted his lowest times of the year at SWAC, running 10.3 in the prelims and 10.24 in the finals. Brown’s quest kicks off Wednesday evening at 7 p.m., and he’ll run on Friday at 6:35 p.m. if he advances to the quarterfinals.
