GRAMBLING, La. — Texas Southern volleyball dropped a hard-fought five-set match to Grambling State on Sunday afternoon at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center, falling 25-18, 16-25, 19-25, 25-17, 15-12.
Despite a slow start in the opening set, the Lady Tigers responded with dominant performances in sets two and three, hitting .538 and .265 respectively. Gracie Hill led the way with 19.5 points, tallying 14 kills and four blocks, while Kourtni Collier added 18.5 points on 12 kills and five blocks. Lauren Battle chipped in nine kills and seven digs, and setter Ava Ray finished with 21 assists and 13 digs.
