HOUSTON — The Texas Southern Lady Tigers kicked off Homecoming Weekend with a statement win, blanking Arkansas–Pine Bluff 3-0 on Friday afternoon at Durley Field.
After a scoreless first half, TSU came alive in the second, lighting up the scoreboard with three goals in under 25 minutes. Clara Dotigny opened the floodgates in the 49th minute with a solo strike. Jacylyn Russ followed with her second goal of the season, assisted by Liliane Clase Baez, whose creativity continues to shine. Defender Melissa Knutson capped the scoring in the 73rd minute, with her first goal of the season, securing the Lady Tigers’ fourth conference win.
