Football Hosts Virginia U. of Lynchburg For Homecoming Saturday Afternoon

• Texas Southern returns to action on Saturday as they’ll host Virginia University of Lynchburg at 1 p.m. for Homecoming inside Durley Stadium.
• Saturday’s contest will feature live audio on KTSU 90.9 FM and will be shown live on SWACTV.
• This marks the sixth time since 2019 and seventh since 2008 TSU will host a home game on campus at Durley Stadium.
• A win over Virginia-Lynchburg this Saturday would give TSU its first four-game winning streak since 2014. TSU last won three consecutve games in 2022.
• The TSU football team was named the STATS/FCS HBCU National Team of the Week the week of Oct. 13.
• TSU will face Virginia University of Lynchburg for the second straight year. VUL is a member of the NCCAA and restarted football in 2011 after stopping play in 1954. VUL has won three games this season with wins…
