BATON ROUGE, La. — Texas Southern volleyball picked up its second SWAC road win of the season Monday night, defeating Southern University 3–1 (25-16, 25-17, 17-25, 25-13) at Seymour Gymnasium.
The Tigers came out strong, controlling the first two sets with a balanced offensive attack and disciplined defense. Southern responded in the third, but TSU regrouped in the fourth, jumping out to an early lead and never trailing. Aggressive serving and net play helped the Tigers shut down Southern’s offense and seal the match.
