Houston, Texas- Despite an incredible performance by Damian Garcia, who hit four home runs and drove in eight runs, Texas Southern fell short against UAPB Golden Lions in a high-scoring affair, losing 19-14 on Sunday.
Garcia’s power was on full display, homering in the first, third, seventh, and ninth innings. His solo shot in the first inning put Texas Southern on the board early, but UAPB Golden Lions responded with a six-run second inning to take the lead.
